The MC68HC11G5FN1, which includes 16 kilobytes of on-board ROM, is a member of the M68HC11 family of advanced capability MCUs. The MC68HC11G5FN1 has 512 bytes of on-board static RAM and a nonmultiplexed expanded bus for accessing external memory. The serial I/O system consists of an asynchronous NRZ Serial Communications Interface (SCI) plus a synchronous Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The A/D converter is enhanced to 10 bits. The MC68HC11G5FN1 also includes a real time interrupt circuit and a Computer Operating Properly (COP) watchdog system, as on the original MC68HC11A8.
